Compass is proud to sponsor the 13th Annual La Jolla Art and Wine Festival, returning to downtown La Jolla on October 9 and 10, alongside our participating agents. The weekend promises family-friendly fun, prestigious art, craft beer and wine, and live entertainment, all for a great cause—supporting La Jolla’s public schools.
The art festival boasts more than 160 artists from across the U.S. and Mexico, whose exquisite creations come in an array of mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry design, fine glass, ceramics, woodwork, mixed media, and photography. The weekend will also feature regional and international wines, a beer and wine garden, silent auction, and pet adoption stations among the festivities.
The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring needed funds to La Jolla’s public schools and promote La Jolla and its merchants, strengthening the vibrant community of La Jolla.
Since its inception, the festival has donated approximately $1,000,000 to La Jolla public schools for the educational benefit of more than 6,000 children. All profits raised benefit underfunded programs such as art, music, science, physical education, technology, and on-site medical care at all La Jolla public schools.
The event is free and open to the public 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Located on Girard Ave in Downtown La Jolla, stop by booths 340 and 342 to visit participating Compass agents.
