SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (May 23, 2011) – Pacific Union International (PUI), today announced that veteran mother-son team brokers Tina Bartlett Hinckley and Ted Bartlett have joined the PUI brokerage.  The duo brings an impressive depth of knowledge about the San Francisco residential real estate market formed by the perspective of two generations.

“The business of real estate comes down to people and the team at Pacific Union International represents the best in the business,” said Patrick Barber, San Francisco president of Pacific Union International.  “Tina and Ted’s experience spans four decades in San Francisco, and they are renowned for their focus on service and surpassing their clients’ expectations.  We are delighted to have them on our team, working to be extraordinary, together.”

Real estate was a natural fit for Tina Bartlett Hinckley.  A graduate of Tulane University, Tina moved to the Bay Area where she quickly got involved in activities around her three sons.  A dedicated community volunteer, Tina helped organize and raise funds for many local non-profit organizations.  Armed with a passion for San Francisco and an intimate knowledge of the city, Tina obtained her real estate license in 1988, where her years of community activity brought many friends and clients her way.  Within a few years, she was a top producer for her firm, building a successful career based on the rave reviews of her clients who appreciate her marketing skills and attention to their needs.

“We offer the perspective of two unique skill sets and contacts and dozens of years of experience in this market,” says Tina.  “We know that family, friends and home are the most important thing for people, and we help steer people toward the decisions that are great for their lives.”

A native San Franciscan, Ted Bartlett’s first real estate venture as an incoming freshman at UC Berkeley was the purchase of an old dilapidated nursing home near campus, which he converted into student housing. After receiving his degree from Cal, Ted worked for an affordable housing developer where he was the project manager for 24 and 30 unit new construction apartment buildings in San Francisco. He then went on to commercial construction, specializing in the retail and restaurants projects throughout the country.

“We joined the team at Pacific Union International because they have a strong, growing brand and utilize the industry’s best marketing tools,” says Ted.  “With the PUI team behind us, we know that we can offer our clients unparalleled support and service.”
