We are pleased to announce that industry veteran David Buurma has been named president of Pacific Union Property Management, our firm’s joint venture that provides full-service property management services throughout the Bay Area.
Based in Napa, Buurma brings more than 30 years of commercial and multifamily property management experience to Pacific Union. In 2010, David and his wife started Sierra Property Services, the top property management firm in the North Bay. Sierra Property Services was merged into Pacific Union in late 2013.
“David’s experience, communication skills, and refined confidence make him the ideal leader for this important joint venture,” says Pacific Union CEO Mark A. McLaughlin. “We anticipate continued aggressive growth in this expanding sector of Pacific Union International.”
In his new role, Buurma will oversee more than 4,000 HOA and property management units, with plans to further expand Pacific Union’s footprint in this key business.
“The growth potential for PUPM is tremendous across Northern California,” Buurma says. “Our initial focus will be on expanding our reach into the Marin market and the East Bay, with additional aggressive growth planned for the Lake Tahoe region.”
