Realtor and Architectural Expert Bret Parsons Joins Pacific Union to Open Hancock Park Office

Pacific Union is proud to announce that Bret Parsons has joined the company as a distinguished real estate professional and Associate Manager of the Hancock Park office. Set to open this summer, the new office space is located in the historic Keystone Building in Larchmont Village at 156 N. Larchmont Blvd. — the perfect environment for Bret’s architectural expertise.
“We’re very fortunate to have Bret join our team and realize his vision for our Hancock Park office,” says Nick Segal, Pacific Union International President in Southern California. “Bret is a master at marketing and selling architecturally significant homes. His leadership of this new office, our 21st in Los Angeles and more than 50th companywide, marks an exciting milestone in our Southern California expansion.”
“I’m delighted to join forces with Pacific Union in opening this new office,” Parsons says. “I’ve long had my sights set on creating the finest architecturally-centric and community-focused real estate office in Hancock Park, one that would better serve buyers and sellers in the area. There’s no better place than Pacific Union to realize this vision.”
In addition to serving as Associate Manager of Hancock Park, Parsons will spearhead the launch of Pacific Union’s Architectural Division in Southern California. As Executive Director of the division, he will leverage both his extensive experience with architecturally significant properties and his passion for these homes. Prior to his career in real estate, Parsons spent 16 years in the architecture and design industry, including Marketing Director and Vice President of Business Development at Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Parsons is also a published author whose books focus on documenting the architectural legacy of Southern California. Titles include “Colcord Home”(published in 2008), and a 12-volume series entitled, “Master Architects of Southern California 1920-1940,” co-written with architect Marc Appleton and architectural historian Steve Vaught. Volume 1, “Gordon B. Kaufmann” was published in 2016 and Volume II on “Roland E. Coate” will be published in May. Volume III features Paul R. Williams and Volume IV profiles Wallace Neff.
The hiring of Parsons and the Hancock Park opening are the latest in a series of landmark moments for Pacific Union. This month, the Los Angeles Business Journal ranked the firm as the No. 1 independent real estate brokerage by sales volume and No. 2 overall in Los Angeles. In addition, Variety magazine named an unprecedented nine Pacific Union real estate professionals to its 2018 Showbiz Real Estate Elite. Less than a month earlier, the firm opened its Northeast Los Angeles office in Highland Park and welcomed three top-performing teams to the company: L34 Group, Brad Holmes Group and Regina Vannicola Team.
Pacific Union is thrilled to have signed the lease on this new office space, and excited to welcome Bret Parsons to the team. We look forward to a vibrant future for both the new location and the company.
