Veteran content strategist CC Holland will help increase the company’s brand
locally and regionally through digital channels
Pacific Union (PU) continues to expand its Bay Area presence, announcing this week that it has named CC Holland as the Vice President for Digital Media. A veteran content strategist with decades of experience, CC has helped to develop the online brands of some of the biggest names in the Bay Area and the nation, including Cisco, Disney, Qualcomm, and CNET, to name a few. She will develop and manage PUI’s digital marketing initiatives and grow the firm’s online engagement with consumers.

CC Holland is recognized as one of the premier digital content professionals in the Bay Area and has created content and developed successful digital strategies with both Fortune 500 companies and noted Bay Area brands. She is adept at developing and utilizing content to reinforce brand strategy, including the creation of appropriate cross-channel marketing strategies. As proprietor of her own consulting company, CC has helmed both internal and external projects with clients such as Kaiser Permanente, where she developed an effective migration and presentation strategy for the company’s new intranet platform, and WebEx, where she directed the content efforts for rebranding the product and helped develop online strategies to increase adoption and revenue.
She got her start in journalism with reporting positions at the Naples (FL) Daily News and the Los Angeles Times, and as senior editor with Volleyball Magazine, a highly regarded niche sports publication. She entered the digital world as the managing editor of KCBS.com, the online news channel for KCBS-TV in Los Angeles.
CC moved to the Bay Area in 1998 to take a position as managing editor for ZDNet/CNET Networks, where she helped grow audiences and devise ways to increase engagement, reach, and influence. She launched her content strategy consultancy in 2002.
