Marin Housing Market Update June 2011

For the month of June, there were 1044 Marin County homes for sale, with 30% in contract. This is a downward trend from February’s high of 35% Marin County homes in contract. Over 35% in contract is usually indicative of a seller’s market.

The majority of Marin County homes for sale, 295, were in the $500,000 – $750,000 price range, with 37% in contract. 594 homes were priced under $1,000,000, with 40% in contract. 450 homes were priced above the $1,000,000 price range with 17% in contract.
