Already hard hit by the COVID pandemic, nonprofits across Napa and Sonoma Counties are facing greater demand than ever to support their communities dealing with the devastation of this year’s Northern California wildfires. With deep gratitude, Compass real estate professionals have teamed up to respond, donating $65,000 to 17 Wine Country nonprofit organizations.
“These are our neighbors and friends who are suffering from these overwhelming losses due to the fires,” says Mark A. McLaughlin, President of Compass California. “We need to be there to help in every way we can, especially through this year’s holiday season.”
These agencies provide a range of services for Wine Country residents including mental health treatment for children badly impacted by the fires, food banks, animal shelters, and volunteer fire departments.
