Pacific Union International has officially launched the Los Angeles division of Pacific Union Commercial, a full-service division specializing in investment sales of all traditional asset classes, including multifamily, retail, hospitality, office and industrial.
Leading the team of 40 commercial real estate professionals across Los Angeles is Dario Svidler and Tim Byrne. Both have been named executive vice president and regional director and serve under Stephen Pugh, president of Pacific Union Commercial, who operates from Pacific Union’s San Francisco headquarters. A new Los Angeles headquarters for Pacific Union Commercial will be based out of the company’s flagship office on Rodeo Drive.
“We offer a better and more holistic approach to commercial real estate, especially in the $2 million to $25 million range, which is often neglected by bigger commercial real estate firms,” Svidler said. “With our specific experience and extensive network in the Los Angeles market, we also have the methods and relationships to secure off-market inventory at all deal sizes.”
Byrne added, “We thrive in a collaborative culture and have an unmatched approach to bringing a property to market, marketing it, and getting it sold. No other commercial real estate brokerage in Los Angeles has a local presence or reach of our size.”
Both Svidler and Byrne previously led the commercial division at Partners Trust, which merged with Pacific Union in August 2017, and along with John Aaroe Group and Gibson International rebranded as Pacific Union International in January 2018. The unification of the three Los Angeles brokerages brought together 20 commercial real estate professionals, and in the past 30 days, the division has doubled in size, including the addition of two powerhouse teams: one a 12-person team led by Elizabeth Clark, and the other a five-person team led by Tom Park. Park and Clark were previously with BRC Advisors.
“We are thrilled to officially launch our commercial real estate division in Los Angeles,” Pugh said. “The company has been serving commercial real estate needs in San Francisco since 1974, and the official formation of the team in Los Angeles, which has collectively been involved in more than $1 billion in transactions, will be a force in the L.A. market.”
Pacific Union Commercial’s team of real estate professionals in Los Angeles prides itself on offering superior service and a fresh approach to marketing properties, taking unparalleled market research and reaching the right buyers with engaging messaging. The commercial division has the unique ability to reach and leverage Pacific Union’s 1,700 real estate professionals across 20 Los Angeles offices, 31 Northern California offices, and a China Concierge office in Beijing.
To mark the launch of the Pacific Union Commercial division in Los Angeles, Pacific Union executives from Southern and Northern California came together earlier this month at the elegant Mr. C Beverly Hills Hotel for an evening of cocktails, live music, food, and festivities.
